Meets at
the Visitors Center at 5:30 AM for a guided tour to see the bats returning to
the sinkhole from their night of ridding the area of pesky insects. Up until now there have been only two (2) scheduled
tours, one was on August 28th, 2010 and the other on September 25, 2010. In
August the bats did not return at a predictable hour, or even in a group, so
the results were not “a tour
experience”. The September return
flight was nearer our
expectations. Please note that in our
small community we have very few people able to take the time at dawn to
monitor the bat behavior. However, we shall continue to learn and make this
into a regular feature. Each adult is $20.00 and each child over 12 is
